Partner Program Terms

The program in one sentence

A partner earns 25% of the first year of every AudLit Annual plan bought by a narrator who first reached audlit.com through the partner's link and bought within twelve months of that visit.

How a referral is counted

Each partner has a link of the form audlit.com/join/CODE. A visit through it sets a cookie in the visitor's browser that holds the partner's code and nothing else, for one year. The first partner link a visitor uses is the one that counts. If that visitor later buys an Annual plan in the same browser, the purchase is credited to the partner.

Purchases we cannot credit: Per Book purchases, renewals after the first year, a purchase made in a browser or on a device where the link was never opened, a purchase after the cookie was cleared, and a partner's own purchase.

What the referred narrator gets

The same AudLit at the same price as everyone else. The program does not discount the Annual plan, and a referred narrator is never charged more to cover the partner's share.

Payouts

Commissions are paid quarterly by PayPal once a partner has accrued at least $25. A purchase that is refunded is not paid, and a commission already paid on a refunded purchase is deducted from the next payout. Partners in the United States who are paid $600 or more in a calendar year receive a form 1099-NEC and must provide a W-9 before their first payout; partners outside the United States provide a W-8BEN.

Rules

  • Disclose the relationship wherever you post the link, as the FTC endorsement guides and their equivalents in the UK and Germany require.
  • No self-referrals, and no referrals of your own household.
  • No posting the link on coupon or deal sites, and no paid search advertising on the word “AudLit” or its misspellings.
  • Describe AudLit accurately. In particular, never say that nothing leaves the narrator's machine: transcription and live follow mode send voice to a transcription service, as our privacy policy explains.

We may end a partnership for breaking these rules, and we may change these terms with notice to partners by email. Commissions earned before a change are paid under the terms in force when they were earned.
